LOREAL: ABUSE AND DISDAIN
loreal, a cosmetic leading company, doesn´t have any consideration for its employees, and with a slogan as well-known as hypocritical and pretentious ‘because I´m worth it’, it uses it in such a cynical and arrogant way with its employees, and displaying a false ethical which it´s selling all over the world ‘ porque yo lo valgo ’ devotes itself to disguise its ambition with a ‘perfumed’ labour force adjustment plan.
To simplify and not trouble you with numbers, I will transcribe the words of the president of loreal Spain in November 2009 (the labour force adjustment plan was already implemented in the factory in Albesa-Spain) after asking him: To what extent is the crisis affecting loreal? And He answers: ‘As you know, the results of the first six months have been disclosed, showing a sales improvement on an International basis (1,4 %), so we can say that LOREAL RESISTS TO THE CRISIS VERY WELL’ .
We can see which kind of people have the control in this world. Coldly, and in a very delicate situation (a Financial Crisis created by people like them, who just want more and more money, exchanging families for dividends) They take advantage of this situation to fire thousands of people… yesterday in UK, today in Spain, and tomorrow who knows where, only They know it… an ambition with no limits at all, standing as an example of honesty and morality in advertising campaigns and social events.
Even worst is that the trade unions in this country, when faced with a situation of abuse and immorality, they look the other way and they encourage us to NOT REBEL against such an injustice, avoiding to follow an ethical and social justice for all the employees referring that “there is always someone worst than you”. What a cheek!
What a shame that they change the negotiation table for the ‘bon appétit’ table.
Go on strike to the trade unions of the ‘social peace’ while the weakest is put down under the abuse of the most powerful!!
